Devon Smith joins the team with a Washington, DC-based public affairs background, specifically in strategic communications, research, coalition management, and integrated campaign-style approaches to legislative and policy initiatives. With experience supporting large multinational corporations and trade associations with a range of messaging development, activation, and media needs – she has done a bit of everything. Having also received her MLitt in strategic studies from the University of St. Andrews, Devon brings an in-depth understanding of strategic thought, client relations and a strong awareness of the ever-changing global news landscape to W&W. Based in the Boston office; she will be assisting primarily with policy monitoring, media relations and account administration.

Work Philosophy:

I have always said I will try anything! I try to keep an open mind when it comes to jumping on a new project or developing a new skill – no matter what my background or experience is. I believe that when I can push myself to try new things professionally, and always be willing to learn, I get the most out of my job. Along that vein, I am a research girl at heart – so information is key! The more I know and understand the better I feel about something and the better I can execute on all fronts.
